Cambridge Advanced Levels (A Levels)
“From classrooms to Ivy Leagues – A Levels that open global doors.
The Cambridge International AS & A Levels, offered in Grades A1 and A2, represent the next stage of academic depth and specialisation. Students usually select 3–5 A Level courses, which allows them to pursue subjects of strength and interest in greater detail. With 20+ subjects to choose from at DPS International, the A Levels give students the flexibility to design truly interdisciplinary pathways—whether in STEM, humanities, or a blend of both. Recognised worldwide, including by Ivy League universities and top institutions in the UK, Europe, and beyond, the A Levels not only support admissions but also build the advanced research, reasoning, and communication skills essential for university success.
At DPSI, teaching in the classrooms goes beyond textbooks. Lessons are designed to develop higher-order thinking skills, encouraging students to question, analyse, and evaluate rather than simply recall information. The cuSubjects offered at AS and A levelsrriculum promotes interdisciplinary learning, where links across subjects such as Economics, Business, History and STEM allow students to understand real-world issues from multiple viewpoints. This approach not only builds academic depth but also cultivates independent thought, research skills, and problem-solving abilities that equip students for success at top universities worldwide.
