20-21 SEPTEMBER 2008- CIE FACE TO FACE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP was hosted by the school and 35 teachers from schools all over India attended it.
RIVER RAGA
ANNUAL DAY HELD AT DPS INTERNATIONAL ON 3, 4 OCTOBER,2009
The school staged it Annual production River Raga, a celebration of diversity of world cultures on October 3,4 2008.Ms. Reena Ray Secretary Education, Delhi government and Mr. Tejendra Khanna, Lt Governor of Delhi were the chief guests. Mr Ashok Chandra, Chairman DPS Society presided over the function on both the days. Dr. S. Chona, Hony director of DPS International delivered the vote of thanks.
Various dignitaries, including Ambassadors of different nations, eminent educationists, Members of DPS Society, Principals and Heads of schools and over 900 parents attended the function.
This visual extravaganza took us all on a journey across the rivers giving us glimpses of the colourful lives of the people down the ages. At its core, it was tale of the six rivers: the Amazon, the Ganga, the Missouri, the Murray, the Nile and the Thames which represent the six continents and their distinct cultural identities. These rivers also represent the six houses of our school.
This effort by our students was their way of reaching out to the world-their oyster! The play was directed by Ms.Sonia Khan and conceptualized and visualized by Mrs Amita Mishra

The renowned Odissi and Bharatnatyan dancer Padmashree honoree Ms Madhvi Mudgal performed at DPS International, Saket.
21 NOVEMBER 2008- INTER DPS DELHI & NCR SCHOOLS ENGLISH DEBATE
The Zonal round of the Inter DPS English Debate (a DPS society initiative) was organized and hosted by our school on 21st of November 2008. 14 schools of Delhi and NCR took part in this event. The motion before the house was “Commercialization of Sports is the way to go”
02 DECEMBER 2008- WORLD AIDS DAY
A function commemorating World AIDS Day was organized at DPS International on December 2, 2008 by the Council of Health and Media, DPS Society. Nine Hundred Students from Fourteen DPS Schools of Delhi and NCR zone came together to reaffirm their pledge to carry forward the work on HIV and AIDS awareness and work towards building an AIDS free society.
GUEST SPEAKERS:
21 NOVEMBER 2008 - Mr. CHETAN CHAUHAN, the eminent cricketer, politician and Arjun awardee gave an inspiring lecture to the students on leadership.
13 DECEMBER 2008- MRS SANTOSH YADAV, an eminent mountaineer and social worker addressed the students of classes VII-AI. She spoke about her life and her Everest ascent and the importance of perseverance.
18 FEBRUARY 2009 Mr. Saurav Kumar of Career Launcher addressed the students of classes X A1 and A2 and spoke about higher education in India and abroad and career options.
