Fee Policy & schedule for the Academic Year 2008-09

AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION:

On admission, annual charges will be charged for the entire 12 month period from all students and all monthly fees will be charged as follows:

METHOD OF PAYMENT:

All school fees should be paid by cash/ local cheque/pay order/demand draft payable at Delhi, in favour of “ DPS International” along with the Fee Bill / Challan circulated by the school. The fee will be deposited at the bank as per details mentioned in the Challan with late fee if any, added thereto. The due dates will be as per specifications given below:

Admission Fee, Development Charges, Caution Money and Annual Charges for full year in addition to term fee as applicable, will be paid to the school by demand draft/pay order at the time of admission. The balance fee will be subsequently paid at the bank along with the Fee Bill/ Challan in quarterly installments as given above for existing students.

Attention: Parents/guardians may kindly note that the Fee Deposit Challan should not to be placed in the bank drop box. On deposit, the seal of the bank with date of receipt should be obtained on the Fee Bill/Challan. Outstation cheques are not to be deposited. Part payment of fee is not permitted.

FAILURE TO PAY BY DEADLINE:

If the appropriate fee including optional charges are not paid within the stipulated period/due dates, late payment charge of Rs. 50/-per day will be imposed up to the date of payment .

In case, school fee inclusive of late fine in not paid within the first month of each term the student will be disallowed to attend classes thereafter. Further, if school fee inclusive of late fine is not paid by the end of term, the name of the student will be struck off from the school rolls and caution money/refundable amount, if any, adjusted against dues.

PENALTY FOR NON-REALISATION OF CHEQUES:

Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) to be added for each cheque by the parent/guardian(s), in case the given cheque is returned unpaid by the banker(s). In such cases, payment by Demand Draft/Pay Order/Cash in lieu of non-realised cheque payment, with penalty charges and late fee added to the requisite amount is to be paid at the school only.

LUNCH / TRANSPORT FEE:

Lunch & Transport facilities are optional for all students, fee for the same is to be paid as per the fee schedule on a quarterly basis for 11-months or from the month in which the student avails the facility during the academic year. Submission of Consent Form is mandatory for students availing the facility.

It is desirous that no change is made during the academic year, nevertheless, if unavoidable one-month written notice or charge in lieu thereof is mandatory.

In the case of students availing transport facility, discontinuance, if unavoidable, will be permitted only once during the academic year with notice as per policy. Thereafter if transport usage is resumed during the same academic year, charges for the remaining months of the academic year will be payable in one installment.

In the case of students appearing for the IGCSE & A Level examinations, lunch and transport fee, will be payable up to the end of the examination month, unless discontinued with prior written notice.

WITHDRAWAL:

It is mandatory that Parents / Guardians seeking withdrawal from school as well as facilities shall obtain the Withdrawal Form from the reception and submit the same at least one month in advance. The parent is liable for one month fee inclusive of facilities availed, in lieu of notice. If notice for withdrawal is received on or before the tenth day of the month, the relevant month will be included in the notice period. It is important that your child is properly withdrawn from the School in order to receive transcripts or report cards.

In the event of withdrawal after commencement of academic session, annual charges will be charged up to the end of notice period on pro rata basis.

Registration charges and admission fee shall not be refundable in any circumstance. On withdrawal from School, Development Charges will be charged as follows:

In the event of admission and withdrawal of the student prior to commencement of academic session, admission fee and registration charges will be retained and balance refunded.

Fee and other dues will be adjusted against caution money and balance will be payable by the parent.

Caution Deposit if any, after adjustment of dues will be refunded by cheque in favour of the parent and transfer certificate issued within 30 days of leaving the school.

Transfer certificate will be processed only after clearance of all dues.

EXPULSION:

The student who has been expelled during a session shall not be required to pay fee beyond the month in which he is expelled. Part of a month shall be treated as one complete month.

RE-ENROLMENT AFTER LEAVING:

Students who wish to re-enrol after having left the school for longer than 6 months are required to pay all fee inclusive of registration, admission fee and development charges. The expelled/rusticated student will not be eligible for re-enrolment.

LIBRARY CARD & LATE FINE:

Late fine of Rs.5/- per day will be paid for delayed return of books to the library. Students are liable to pay cost of library books misplaced/damaged/lost.

Please Note: The Fee Policy is binding on all students enrolled, in all cases and in all circumstances. Therefore, the parents/guardians are advised to seek clarification in this regard from the school in the event of any doubt/query.

In the event of any dispute in the interpretation of the fee policy, the decision of the management shall be binding on all concerned. Pupils are expected to behave in an orderly and disciplined manner at all times.
