Eco Club

The Eco club aim at studying, exploring and researching on sustainable methods and measures to make our surroundings more habitable. The eco club has activities that involve studying the environment and creating awareness about the problems that are a result of men’s reckless use of the earth’s limited resources.

Science Club

The school runs the science club as a part of co-curricular activities for fostering creativity and scientific attitude. Every week one period per class is devoted to co-curricular activities, which includes the science club. In the current session, the science club students performed concept building experiments related to their syllabus and some beyond the scope of their curriculum. Some of the experiments ranging from class vi – viii included, finding centre of mass of an arbitrary object, measuring time using a simple pendulum and understanding the factors on which the time period depends, designing a DC motor, magnetic levitation acid base reactions, experiments pertaining to electricity, food tests, density gradient, chromatography of flowers and leaves, soap making, electrolysis and electroplating were also performed to enhance the concepts of the students. Hands on activities were performed by the students as a part of peer to peer learning methodology; these included preparing slime, modelled volcano, preparing and testing natural acid-base indicators, preparing a fire extinguisher etc.

Astronomy Club

The astronomy club in collaboration with SPACE (an organization that provides students opportunities to explore astronomy) organizes activities, events and field trips for its members. The aim of the club is to equip students with tools and techniques to independently practice astronomy professionally.

Robotics Club

The Robotics club aims at giving its members a hand on experience of making and watching with robotic technology/ it has many benefits. It helps develop technological skills, skills of engineering, math and physics.  It helps learners unleash the creativity, think out of the box and develop problem solving abilities.

IT Club

To ensure a 360 degree holistic development of learners, DPS International runs professional skill development programmes under the banner of IT Club and Programming Club, as a part of co-curricular activities. The club aims to improve the ICT skills of students by nurturing their creative and programming skills, and sharpening their research and presentation skills. The club also aims to promote innovation among them as they seek out technological solutions to problems that may arise in a school environment. The Club also offers training & workshops in various programming languages & software development tools like Python,Java, PHP, Word press, Database Management, Data Analysis, Multimedia, Animation, Graphic Designing and much more. The club is targeted to expose students to industry recommended software so that they can have an edge when they step out into the world.

Photography Club

The Photography club aims to provide a creative space to its members where they can unleash their creativity and display then display them through the medium of panoramic reveals. The club aims to make student realize that clicking pictures is more than just pressing a button. Photographs are so much more than just snapshots.

Debating Club

DPSI promotes debates vigorously at all levels, classroom, inter-house, national and international events. The Debating Club works on the acquisition of comprehension skills which is paramount for students to become competent readers and writers, linking debates directly to the entire curriculum. Debates allow students to become more proficient in speaking, researching, reading, and writing skills and they promote reasoning as well as communication skills.

Quizzing Club

We facilitate Inter and Intra-School Quizzes Competition on all levels for all classes. Wednesday Weekly Quizzes are organized which are based on current affairs, general awareness and important days and events for Classes 5-8 in the Homeroom period to keep the children up breast with the latest in all the fields.

Economics Society

The goal of The Economics Society at DPS International is to sharpen the economic and business acumen of students and hence to prepare the leaders of tomorrow. Moreover, it seeks to understand the human world around us and how it changes - both over periods of time and instantaneously. Further, it seeks to create a thorough understanding of what it means to be a global citizen - and how to be a productive, thinking member of this global village.

Parchment & Ink club

The parchment and Ink club is a club entirely run and managed by the students. The aim is to encourage skills of reading and writing for creative expressions and to help students discover the beauty of English language and literature. It provides learners the opportunity to explore stories, essays, debates, process, and book discussion and explore language beyond the classroom.

Drama club

At DPS International, we beleive that imagination and creativity will allow our students to soar above the mundane. The school has staged plays that were conceived, written and also, directed in-house to enhance students'learning as well as to nurture a love of the performing arts.

Heritage club

CLUB HEREDITAS- A DPSI Initiative

MISSION
Club HEREDITAS aims to raise awareness about the importance of heritage in the world and why heritage conservation is of crucial importance. The Heritage Club has planned workshops, talk shows, presentations, competitions, etc. over the upcoming year to achieve this very goal. In addition, the club has also planned a series of Heritage Walks, where all club members are taken to places of rich cultural and historical significance in areas around the Delhi NCR.

STRUCTURE
The Club members are from all the grades from 5 - A2 and are divided into four groups of approx. 20 students each for the academic session 2023-24. Hence a total number of four Heritage Walks are planned which will cover a few cities of Delhi out of its 7 old cities. The tangible, intangible and water heritage will be a significant part of these walks. Before and after every walk, the members will be assigned a task which may comprise making a Report, Brochure, Poster, Quiz, Questionnaire etc. Depending on the scores the membership will be renewed.
